AbhiX ROG Edition from Edunil is one of the best custom ROM available for Xiaomi smartphones. I’ve used it on my Redmi Note 7 from a long time and right now using it on Redmi K20 Pro which gives me immense performance and stability over the stock MIUI 12.

The custom ROM AbhiX ROG Edition is inspired by the ASUS ROG Edition which mainly focuses on performance and better battery backup. Once you install this custom ROM on your Xiaomi device, you will start feeling the first boot’s difference.

Abhishek Shakya or better known as AbhiX Shakya, is the project founder of AbhiX ROG Edition custom ROM. Several Xiaomi devices are supported, and each device has its maintainers, which we will discuss later in this article.

AbhiX ROG Edition from Edunil is a custom ROM for Xiaomi smartphones based mainly on the official and latest MIUI Beta and Stable Builds. The main motto of the ROM is to deliver the best performance and gaming experience to the users.

Many devices such as Redmi Note 5 Pro (WhyRed) and Redmi Note 6 (Tulip) that do not have the official latest version released have got the newest MIUI ROMS ported from Redmi Note 7 (Lavender).

How To Install AbhiX ROG Edition On Xiaomi Devices

Prerequisites

The device bootloader must be unlocked – Read the guide to unlocking bootloader on Xiaomi Devices.
Enable USB Debugging on Xiaomi Device. Read the guide here.
Take a backup of your data to an external source.
Latest TWRP or OrangeFox Recovery must be installed.
AbhiX ROG Edition custom ROM. Download from here.

Instructions

Step 1: Turn off your device and reboot to recovery mode.

Step 2: Tap on WIPE and then select System, Dalvik, Cache, Data and swipe the slider to clean everything.

Step 3: Tap on the HOME button in the recovery menu and select INSTALL.

Step 4: Now navigate to the download folder where the AbhiX ROG Edition custom ROM is saved.

Step 5: Select the ROM and tick “reboot automatically”. Next, swipe the slider to install the ROM.

Step 6: Wait for a few minutes. Once the installation is complete, the device will boot to the system itself.

Step 7: Once the device is booted, follow the instructions to set up your newly-installed custom ROM.

NOTE: If you are stuck on the boot screen for a long period, force reboot by pressing the power button until you feel the vibration.
