Pre-Requirements

  • You need to log in with your account on your Mi device. Go to Settings > Mi account > Mi Cloud, Enable Sync, and Find device.
  • Ensure you Download and Install the Xiaomi USB driver.
  • Also, you have to Enable Developer mode and open Settings > About Phone > MIUI.
    • Then tap About and find the Build Number.
    • Now, tap on it seven times to enable developer settings.
  • Enable USB debugging and OEM Unlock. Navigate to Settings > Additionally Settings > Developer option.
  • Turn on the ADB and fastboot: INSTALL ADB AND FASTBOOT IN WINDOW AND MAC.
  • Your device should be charged at least 70%.

Unlock Bootloader

First of all, you have to unlock the bootloader of your device. If you don’t know how to do it, we will explain it here. To unlock the bootloader of any Meizu device, you have to get permission to unlock the bootloader on your Meizu device. In case you don’t know how to do it, follow this guide on how to unlock the bootloader of any Xiaomi Devices.

Install TWRP

  1. Download and Extract the Adb platform Tool.
  2. DOWNLOAD TWRP for your device  or From TWRP.Me
  3. Now, Open the ADB folder on your PC and Laptop.
  4. After that, Replace the URL of the Adb folder with CMD and Hit Enter Button.
  5. Next, connect your smartphone to your PC via a USB cable.
  6. Connect your device with the PC and type:
  7. ADB reboot bootloader

  8.  Then After, type the following command to Flash TWRP
  9. fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img

  10.  Once TWRP is successfully flashed on your device, type this final command to reboot your device.
  11. fastboot reboot

  12.  Done!! This will install TWRP on your device
  13. For Root, you can use Magisk in TWRP and reboot your device.
  14. That’s it, and you have Successfully Installed TWRP Recovery On your devices.

Install MIUI 12 Rom

  • Download and Move the MIUI 12.5 ROM to your External Storage.
  • You need to Boot into TWRP Mode on your device.
  • Now, power off your smartphone and hold the Volume Down + Power button, then navigate using the volume button to Enter TWRP Mode.
  • After that, you must Wipe the cache, Data, and Dalvik cache. [Note: you don’t have to wipe the Vendor]
  • Now, Click the Install Button, Navigate to Download MIUI 12.5 EU ROM and Select it.
  • That’s it, and you have Successfully Installed MIUI 12.3 on your Devices.
